Do nurses control the technology or do the technology controls the nurses?


for me it is just a give and take process both them use each other to make a better work and save more life. Technology and tools such as computer can be use by the  nurse, health care providers or medical team to preserve one's life and to give quality care for the patients, computers makes job easier for us to deal with, nurse controls the tools and technology and it makes her/his job more easier. but there's an advantages and disadvantages in every aspect of it like errors. too much technology can threaten a life of an individual for example the nurse set an alarm/reminder such as beepers or cellphones for the medication of the patients but suddenly the alarms didn't work cause of lack of batteries and she didn't notice because she always depends on the alarm, the patient didn't take the medication at the right time and can cause a harm to a certain patient or can even cause death. that's why technology also controls us as person if we became so attach to it later on it controls us humans not only the nurses but this is applicable to everyone. So we should balance it learn the limitation of technology don't let it run your life, the patients still want's the care and love by a Human not from a Robot.
